In 1976, Black Diamond Investigation and Security opened its doors in Gillette. Jack and his wife Kay, have successfully operated the business for over 30 years. Starting out, Jack trained in the police academy where he earned his first badge in 1961. He was chief of police in 1975 and was later presented with the first peace officer award of Campbell County in 1976. Two years later, he left the police department and started Black Diamond Investigation & Security, Inc. as a licensed private detective.

Jack has more than 45 years of experience in investigations of all types which include legal, criminal and domestic, process services and repossessions. He also specializes in security, including armed & unarmed, crowd control, standing officers, vacation watches, and alarm responds.
